Beebs & Her Money Makers

With the kazoo wielding songstress Beebs as their fearless leader, BaHMM is taking audiences by surprise with their high energy performances, and a refreshing never before heard blend of psychedelic rock, funk, blues, and hip-hop. Beebs and Her Money Makers, or “BaHMM!” for short made a BIG bang in 2011 with the release of their EP, “Welcome to Bartertown”.

Boasting a huge lineup of performers, including “Glow Hoopers” and “JamBots”, BaHMM hit the road armed with nothing but their sassy songs and funky hard pounding grooves. In two short years they’ve forged their way to the top of their music scene, selling out nearly every show they’ve played to date.

Some of the acts BaHMM has rocked the stage with include Zach Deputy, Keller Williams, The Lee Boys, BadFish, Dumpstaphunk, 100 Monkeys, Bobby Lee Rodgers, Big Bad VooDoo Daddy, Perpetual Groove, and many more! With the upcoming release of their highly anticipated new full length studio album, and a comic book based on the superhero alter egos of the band by comic book artist Tony Baldini, 2012 looks to be another year of powerhouse performances by these evolutionary revolutionaries of love and music!

The Legendary JC’s

The Legendary JC's

It all started with some sharkskin suits and Otis Redding tunes more than seven years ago. Since that point, the members of the The Legendary JC’s have ridden a wave of sweaty grooves and press accolades to a point where they are ready for lift-off.

The Legendary JC’s (commonly The Joint Chiefs) started flooring Central Florida crowds with their brand of soulful rocking blues in 2000. With a lineup consisting of top central Florida musicians, part of the magic of the shows is never knowing who is going to show up.

Such over-the-top shows have garnered the band headlining slots at three consecutive years worth of NOLA Jazz Fest late-nights, Florida Music Festival and Macon’s Bragg Jam. They have also headlined: a month at Monte Carlo Casino – Las Vegas, Tropical Heatwave in Tampa, Milledgeville BBQ Festival, Crawfish Fest in Tallahassee, Wingfest in Hilton Head,N.C., Palatka Blue Crab Festival and community events throughout the southeast. The JC’s have also headlined radio-station events for WMNF, WLOQ and WMMO. Other festival performances include Voodoo Music Experience(Memphis), Langerado, Down on the Farm, Bear Creek Festival and Dunedin Mardi Gras.

The band has been in high demand at corporate functions, as well, playing for dignitaries of the G8 Summit, Canadien Parliament members, Full Sail, Harley-Davidson, Southern Comfort and others.

Not only does the band pay respects to their influences through their gold-standard original tunes, they have also performed for some, opening shows for James Brown (H.O.B.), B.B. King H.O.B.), Al Green (H.O.B.), Dr. John (VooDooFest). Guests performing onstage with the band include Avant Jazz saxophonist Sam Rivers, Bluesman Sonny Rhodes, rocker Les Dudek, B-3 master Ike Stubblefield, jazz guitarist Grant Green Jr., swamp-funk man J.J.Grey, Hall&Oats saxophonist Charlie Dechant and many others. Other opening slots have included: Greyboy Allstars, Cowboy Mouth, Galactic, J.J. Grey and Mofro, Blues Traveler, Col. Bruce Hampton & the Codetalkers, Moonshine Still, Stanton Moore, Robert Walter’s 20th Congress, Robert Randolph, Bonerama and even Bad Company.

Cope

Cope

COPE offers an array of audial influences that recall the pleasures of yesterday while hinting at the promises of tomorrow. Roots-rock passages blend seamlessly with bluegrass, funk, reggae and electronic breakdowns accented by soaring vocal harmonies that provide a smooth swagger, seducing audiences to the dance floor. Dennis Stadelman’s aggressive runs on guitar and banjo intertwine with the complex flourishes of Juan Montero’s scintillating saxophone and layered keys that vary from honkytonk to new skruncher. Kenny Stadelman lays down complex harmonies on bumping bass beats driven by Dave Gerulat’s funky delirium powerhouse drumming, on one of the most sophisticated drum kits in the industry. COPE has humbly played with many great guest musicians, and at countless festivals including Wanee, Bear Creek, AURA, Blackwater and Orange Blossom Jamboree. Most recently, COPE was invited to play in their home state of Ohio at Rootwire 2012. Their albums “Going Home” (2009) and “See” (2011) were both nominated for Home Grown Music Network’s Album of the Year. The creative quartet offers a brilliant blend of melody and harmony balanced with tightly-arranged and well-composed numbers that demonstrate an appreciation for song craft…all while throwing the boogie down.

The seeds of COPE were first planted in Ohio as a family band featuring the brothers Stadelman and their cousin, guitarist Roger Pinkerton. Developing their core musical values over several years, the band relocated in the south in 2004 joining forces with drummer Dave Gerulat. Pinkerton departed, and COPE retooled with the advanced skillset of multi-instrumentalist Juan Montero, adding a dimension of sophistication. Dubbed the “Undisputed Jam Kings of Tampa Bay” by Skipper’s Smokehouse’s talent agent, the band ventures forward into its second decade primed and ready for exploration and discovery. Joining forces with Hoplite and Brotherly Love Productions in 2012 has elevated the already steady buzz that permeates this family vibe. With an army of devoted fans, COPE gives everyone something new to fall in love with!
